Our Idea

We started with the idea that if you begin with individuals and enable them to think and feel differently and make decisions that make difference to them, then they will be more willing to share that with others. All of a sudden you’ve got a greater chance of success, you may even find you’ve got a team.

We don’t believe that you can force people to change, learning and development programmes shouldn’t try and do that, we believe fundamentally that our programmes, our mission, is to open doors for people. It’s up to them if they chose to walk through. We know that those doors lead to greater things and we also know that these can be daunting, scary even, so we work hard to build belief and confidence, challenge mindsets and perceptions, we reveal the alternatives.

Director and Senior Facilitator

Stephen is a founder member of Fabric Learning and Master Facilitator. His passion is performance, getting the most out of individuals, teams and organisations. His style deliberately encourages a sense of fun, which makes learning such an enjoyable experience. Stephen’s background in education and professional sports also enables him to share up to the minute research within organisational effectiveness, competitive advantage and high performance results.

Clare Vaughan

Director and Business Manager

Clare is a founder member of Fabric Learning and our Business Manager. Her background as a Executive PA enables her to really understand how organisations work, together with building great relationships with key individuals and awareness of their objectives and aims. Having worked with Executive and Senior Leaders, Clare understands the need for confidentiality and discretion, as well as meeting essential deadlines. Often Clare is our first point of contact here at Fabric.

Jack Glover

Lead Designer

Jack is our Lead Designer, responsible for all of our programmes learning resources. We believe that high quality learning material is a key component of a successful programme and Jack is at the forefront of their design. He is passionate about working closely with our clients to fully understand their needs and requirements. He loves to continually challenge what’s expected, leading innovative ideas and concepts all designed to get our delegates thinking about the way that they learn.

Mick Earle

Mick Earle

Senior Facilitator

With 30 years experience to date, Mick champions the use of challenging indoor and outdoor ‘experiential’ activities, high ropes courses, adventure sports and problem solving exercises as well as creative, performance and art-based activities supported by complimentary facilitated workshops to both explore and develop skills and behaviours.

He is passionate about ‘making a difference’ and developing people and believes fundamentally that, within reason, almost any activity or working practice can be used as a foundation for team and personal development. The key to Mick’s success is being able to anchor the learning, allowing delegates to use this to realise benefits in the workplace and beyond.

Kevin Jardine

Kevin is an experienced and energetic professional with over 25 years’ experience in the design and delivery of innovative training and development solutions. He has partnered national and international companies to develop and implement effective solutions which maximise the performance of their people.

He has worked across numerous industries and sectors but specialises in retail and service, and was the People and Development Director with a fast growing retailer for 8 years.

Stuart Chambers

Senior Facilitator

Stuart has over 20 years’ experience of coaching and developing people in many different industries. He has worked at all levels, with senior executives of global brands and through to development programmes for managers taking the first steps in their careers. He also has extensive experience and a passion for sports psychology, coaching athletes at all levels from junior to full international.

Stuart believes that no matter what we are doing in life, our performance really does matter. It’s our responsibility and we need to be in the right mind to be the best. Being ready to step up, grabbing opportunities and being resilient to the challenges that life throws at us.
